The reality TV personality took to Instagram on Saturday to reveal that her mother passed away after battling lung cancer. The Netflix star’s family update comes just over a year after her father died of the same cancer in April 2019.
“In disbelief that you’re gone. I feel almost every emotion, but I find comfort in knowing that Dad is there taking care of you and showing you the ropes as only he could,” Chrishell shared, along with a collage of photos of her and her. . mother. “Absolutely heartbreaking to see you breathe one last time, but there is a peace knowing that the two of you are together again, free from the pain that plagued your time here.”

“Your kindness and care at this time will never be forgotten,” he closed his message.
“I just found out today that it is mysteriously #worldcancerday the same day I found out that my mother has 1 or 2 months to live on the same lung cancer that she took from my father at Easter,” he explained at the time. “I still can’t understand what life is teaching me, but my heart goes out to each person who struggles with this horrible disease and to each person who stole a loved one.”
