Studio Ghibli meets The Legend Of Zelda in Stunning Breath of the Wind Poster


The legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo’s longest running, and most popular, game franchises, with the recent title of Breath of the Wild gives us a fresh new take on characters like Link, Zelda, and Gannon, as one of has decided to show how this game can look like a product of Studio Ghibli. Ghibli, who is often considered one of the most legendary animation studios, after making films of anime feature length such as Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, and many others who have propelled the studio’s brand around the world.

Studio Ghibli is set to release a new film later this year Honest and the witch, take the opportunity to venture into the world of computer graphics for this upcoming anime. After this entry, Ghibli seeks to adapt the popular story known as “How Wennesto“, which means that there is still a lot of work for the legendary animation house to do. Hayao Miyazaki retired to work again in the world of animation, and it is clear that Ghibli is still living up to his reputation that it has been established in decades!

Twitter user BigSkyCastle shared this impressive artwork that depicts what the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild could look like it was under the pen of legendary animator Hayao Miyazaki, as the franchise almost seems to be an entrance to Studio Ghibli’s house:

The legend of Zelda has given us a number of different stories that have explored different versions of the land of Hyrule, with Breath of the Wild one of the most discussed thanks to its new mechanics and unique style of cell shades. With a sequel already in the works, we can not wait to see the in-depth world that has spent us countless hours as Link explores the terrain.

While in the past there have been rumors about a possible Legend of Zelda television series, we are still waiting to see this legendary Nintendo franchise, given an animated adaptation at some point in the future.
