I really, really, wanted to write about the surreal day that took place at City Field on Thursday, with GM Brody van Wagner believing Rob Munfred for his protest idea that the Mets had mistakenly gone into the world on the website; Van Wagnen then apologized saying that Manfred was not the person behind the idea, he was actually Jeff Wilpon, the owner of the Mets; Then Wilpon’s introduction is blasting Van Wagner and his first name is mispronounced twice in the release.
