Sources – Texas Rangers S.S. Elvis Andersen deals with Khland Athletics for Slland Gar Chris Davis

Auckland Athletics are acquiring shortstop Elvis Anders and another Texas Rangers player for appointed hitter Khris Davis and a pair of prospects, sources confirmed to ESPN.

A will also receive .5 13.5 million and minor league catcher Armis Garcia in the deal, while catcher Jonah Ham and right-hander Dan Acker will go to the Rangers.

Andrews, 32, was the longest-serving ranger after 12 seasons and the only player left in the 2010 and 2011 World Series back-to-back matches.

Andrews played just 29 games last season due to delays in previous issues and hit .194 with three homers and seven RBIs. It has 28 28.5 million left over for the next two seasons.

For his career, Andreas has scored .274 with 76 homers, 636 RBIs and 305 steels.

Anders’ figures to replace Marcus Semian at shortstop. Semia signed a free-agent deal with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Davis, 33, has 218 career homers in eight seasons with the Brewers and Edge. In 2018, he led the MLB with 48 homers, but he hit just two seasons in 30 games.

Davis scored .247 for four seasons before moving to .220 in 2019 and .220 last season.

The trade was previously reported by Athletic.
