Sony does not admit that everyone will be able to get the PS5 at launch

If you’re still hoping to secure the PlayStation 5 before the console launches on November 12th, you can lower your expectations: Sony has acknowledged that not everyone in the market for next-generation machines will be able to get its mitts off. Boss Jim Rhea told Reuters that the demand, shown by the level of pre-orders, has been very significant.

In fact, to match 12 weeks of pre-order PlayStation 4 in the United States, the next-gen system took just 12 hours to show how eager fans are for the new format. As a result, Ryan conceded that “it may well be that not everyone who wants to buy a PS5 will be able to get it on launch day.” He added that the firm would “work as hard as possible” to get the systems in as many stores as possible.

The PS5 has sold well worldwide since pre-orders suddenly appeared on retailer websites earlier this year. This led to a massive wanderlust for which the manufacturer actually apologized. It doesn’t seem like a clumsy roll-out affected interest in the system, however, the organization sells through its entire shipment in less than a day.
