Sony details how its PlayStation Plus collection will work for the PS5


Sony has announced more details about how its PlayStation Plus collection will work in a new blog post. The service was launched on November 12 in the U.S. Will start with the console in, and it will offer a dozen classic PS4 titles to PS5 owners. The title will be available to PS Plus subscribers at no additional cost, and will remain accessible as long as the subscription is active.

The launch date of the service varies globally depending on when the console itself will be available. It will be available in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, and on November 19 in Europe, the Middle East, South America, Asia and South Africa. Sony says the collection is not available in China and seems to be only available to PS5 customers. It’s not clear if PS4 owners who don’t own PS5 will be able to access the games.

Sony has released an updated list of titles that will be available as part of the PlayStation Plus collection. This includes some games that weren’t on the original list last month; Call to Duty: Black II PS III – Zombies Chronicles Edition And Crash Bandicoot en San Trilogy. Here is the complete list, which varies by region as Sony warns:

Sony says that these PS4 games should benefit from running on the PS5’s more powerful hardware and in some cases also benefit from faster loading times and a more consistent frame rate.

Along with more details about the PlayStation Plus collection, Sony has also announced which PS Plus customers will get free shipping next month. This includes the first free PS5 game, BugsnacksIs, which will be available from 3rd November to 4th January. (The PS4 version of the game, however, will not be free.) Meanwhile, the PS4 games that will be available are Middle-earth: the shadow of war And Hollow Knight: Voidhart EditionIs, which will be available from 3rd November to 30th November.
