Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, according to one of the many Christmas songs that are repeated in every shopping center that you visit now.
And veteran actress Zoe Tay is celebrating with some of her closest friends by assembling her own squad of girls consisting of Chen Xiuhuan, Phyllis Quek, Hong Huifang, Carole Lin, and Angela Ang. The evening was hosted by Phyllis Quek, whose hubby chef made the pavlova cake.
The group of six (because we’re still in Phase 2, so kudos to our ageless celebrities for complying with safe distancing measures) had a blast “playing TikTok” and “exchanging gifts,” according to Xiuhuan’s Instagram post .

The 55-year-old also wrote: “The most precious memories are gathered around a table.”
Zoe, 52, was wearing a smol Santa Claus hat, while the other ladies had adorable reindeer antlers. The highlight of the meeting for Xiuhuan was the giant chicken pot pie that she described as “delicious” and the homemade pavlova pie.
The group also did their gift exchange by random drawing to see who receives each gift, although we are a bit curious to know what they received and if they ran into an issue where they could draw their own gift.
To end their festive evening, the group FaceTimeed their “sorely missed” friend, Singaporean actress Yvonne Lim, who is staying in Taiwan with her husband and children.
It was truly the perfect ending to their evening as Carole wrote: “It was an evening of epic fun and madness with you fabulous ladies …”
