Manchester United Vice President Ed Woodward is keen to explore alternatives to the transfer target of winger Jadon Sancho.
Borussia Dortmund are proving to be stubborn negotiators in the Sancho case.
And the Daily star says an alternative Woodward roster includes Juventus’ Douglas Costa, Atletico Madrid ace Joao Félix and even Real Madrid outcast Gareth Bale.
The 29-year-old Brazilian international Costa joined Juventus on loan from Bayern Munich in 2018 before joining a permanent contract, and he played 29 times for the Italian champions last season, scoring three goals and providing seven assists.
Felix, 20, joined Atlético for 113 million pounds from Benfica last summer and, although he failed to conquer La Liga, he managed nine goals and three assists in all competitions.
The former Tottenham Bale winger needs no introduction, admitting earlier this summer that he would be interested in a return to the Premier League after falling out of favor with Zinedine Zidane in Madrid.
