A Volkswagen driver was caught on camera behaving aggressively and showing his middle finger to another motorist during a road rage incident in Yishun.

The SG Road Vigilante Facebook page uploaded a video of the incident that occurred near Block 291 of Yishun Street 22 on Thursday (September 3).

According to the Facebook post, the Volkswagen driver had gotten out of his car to confront a motorist who was traveling behind him, as he was upset because his horn was honked.

Both vehicles had been stopped in a parking garage before the confrontation.

In the video, the Volkswagen driver can be seen stopping his car on the side of the road after both vehicles passed through the parking garage.

He then got out of his vehicle and started gesturing angrily at the motorist.

The two parties began to argue and the Volkswagen driver subsequently showed his middle finger to the motorist.

Netizens have speculated about what happened, with many pointing out that the motorist simply honked the horn to alert the Volkswagen driver, whose car can be seen reversing in the video.

One commented: “The honk is merely to raise awareness and not to provoke.”
