Portugal couldn’t count on Cristiano Ronaldo for the Nations League clash with Sweden, but they didn’t need him as Liverpool’s Diogo Jota delivered a sensational individual performance in the 3-0 win.
He installed Bernardo Silva’s first game midway through the first half before adding the second and third himself. He also played two more key passes, created a great opportunity and completed four of five dribbling attempts.
But Liverpool fans should be particularly excited about his second goal, lifting the ball wide before slicing in and providing a nice shot past Everton’s new signing Robin Olsen on a decent impression of Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane.
