Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred along the Central Highway (CTE) into the city on Thursday (September 24) at 6:50 a.m.

Stomper Anthony informed Stomp about the incident and sent him a video taken from the car camera.

In the video, a Toyota car can be seen hitting the back of Stomper’s car.

Moments later, both drivers get out of their cars to examine the damage done to both vehicles.

“As I was riding the CTE into the city after the Yio Chu Kang departure, a Toyota Estima was driving behind my car,” shared Anthony.

“When the car in front of me stopped due to heavy traffic, I managed to stop in time.

“But the Toyota Estima behind me didn’t stop in time and the driver hit me in the back of the car.

“When we got out to check the damage, the Toyota driver immediately asked if we could move to the side to check.

“I agreed, but when I moved to the side, the Toyota disappeared. He just left!

“It was my mistake not to take a picture of your license plate.

“In fact, after the accident, his license plate was folded in half, which means I can’t see his license plate from my car camera.

“My red Audi A5 did not take much damage, but I am really pissed off with this driver’s behavior.”

Anthony told Stomp that he made a police report on Friday (September 25).

In response to an inquiry from Stomp, police confirmed that a report was filed and that investigations are ongoing.
