SILVA TIPS CHELSEA ‘REBOOT’ TO LEAD TO SUCCESS

Chelsea has spent over £ 200 million on the Frank Lampard summer review, with Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell on board with the Blues.

The arrival of Rennes goalkeeper Edouard Mendy should also be announced shortly, with Chelsea strongly supporting Lampard’s new era of Stamford Bridge.

“I hope this restart brings the same success that the club has had in the past.

“I look forward to playing my role on the pitch, and I hope this restart proves to be as successful as the project I helped to experience at PSG.

“The trust that he (Lampard) showed in me, that was all it took.

“For me, that confidence was the most important factor. Hearing that he believed in me, that he thought I could come here and make a positive contribution.

“With our young group, as well as some more experienced players like our captain (César) Azpilicueta, we have everything we need for a great season.”
