Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco is said to be open to a signing by Everton in the January transfer window after being told he has no future at the Bernabéu.

The Spaniard has been at Real since 2013, playing 312 games, scoring 51 goals and winning 16 trophies.

Yet he has fallen out of favor under Zinedine Zidane and it has been considered surplus to needs by the French.

He has only made five appearances this season, three of which have come off the substitute bench. Thus, it is understood that the La Liga giants are looking to get rid of him in the winter transfer window.

A report in The Mirror, quoted in the Daily Mail, ensures that ‘Los Blancos’ will seek to lend it until the end of the 2020/21 campaign with the obligation to buy next summer.

He adds that his new club will also have to pay his full salary during the loan period. However, the transfer fee they will ask for is just £ 18 million before plugins.

Rodriguez a great jerk

The Mirror story also states that the opportunity to play alongside James Rodriguez Again it is tempting for Isco.

The pair played together in the Spanish capital in four separate seasons spread over six years. Rodríguez also spent two years on loan at Bayern Munich at that time.

And he would reportedly ‘love’ to bond with him one more time at Goodison, putting the Toffees in a strong position to sign him if they decide to raid.

And what is more, Everton Carlo Ancelotti, of course, has worked with Isco previously. The Italian spent two years as his boss in Madrid between 2013 and 2015.

The now 28-year-old played 106 games in that time, scoring 17 goals. Ancelotti also signed him from the bench in the 2014 Champions League final when Madrid were crowned kings of Europe for the tenth time.
