In the meantime, people should only collect their TraceTogether tokens from community centers in their own districts, the Smart Nation and Digital Government Office (SNDGO) said Monday night.

He said that all districts will be served in due course and urged the public to wait for the collection exercise to begin in their districts.

Registration with the TraceTogether app or token, called SafeEntry by TraceTogether only, will apply only after everyone who needs a token has had a chance to collect one, SNDGO said.

The office added that people can use the SafeEntry registration token or app only from TraceTogether, as they serve the same function of recording close contact details.

“You do not need to collect the token if you are already using the TraceTogether app or can download it,” SNDGO said.

More details on the opening hours of the collection centers will be released later.
