Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken of Paul Pogba’s approach and appetite to do well for Manchester United, despite his agent blatantly seeking to lead his client into a move in January.
The midfielder was the world’s most expensive player when United brought him in from Juventus in 2016. However, Pogba has suffered with inconsistencies ever since.
The Frenchman, whose contract expires in 2022, has started just five Premier League games this season, although he did score a wonderful goal as a starter in his last game against West Ham.

Thursday reports claimed United has lowered the price of Pogba and is ready to do business in January.
However, Solskjaer does not think, at least publicly, of selling the midfielder. In fact, the winner of the World Cup will be part of the United team to face Manchester City on Saturday.
“I think I said during the week, of course, that this is a team game and Paul is part of this team,” Solskjaer said.
“He’s very focused on contributing when he’s here. He is hungry and hungry to play, and he wants to play. He wants to train, he trains.

Reacting to questions about his future, Solskjaer insists that Pogba remains on his mind and there is no talk of a sale in January.
