All new cases today are asymptomatic and were proactively detected, MINSA said.

Four are imported cases, of which three are permanent residents arriving from India. Seven remaining cases are foreign workers residing in dormitories, of which four had previously been identified as contacts from previous cases and had already been quarantined.

The Health Ministry said the number of new cases in the community has remained stable at an average of one per day in the past two weeks. Among the four imported cases, all three PRs had returned to Singapore from India on September 11.
The remaining case is a work pass holder currently working here who arrived from Iran on September 11.
All of them had been placed on the 14-day stay-at-home notice upon arrival here and were assessed while serving their notice at dedicated facilities, the Health Ministry said.

Among the seven cases residing in dormitories, four had previously been identified as previous case contacts and were evaluated during quarantine, the Health Ministry said.
The remaining three cases were detected through surveillance tests, such as routine tests with biweekly lists of workers living in dormitories.
As of last Friday, about 5,700 workers who must undergo routine tests have yet to do so, said the Ministry of Manpower, the Economic Development Board, the Buildings and Construction Authority and the Promotion Board of the Health in a joint return the same day.
