As of November 13 at 12 pm, MINSA said there are no new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection.
All new cases are imported that had already been placed on the Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore. Of them, 11 are asymptomatic and one was symptomatic.
Among the new cases, one is a Singaporean who returned from France and two are permanent Singapore residents who returned from the United States and India.
Another five are currently employed in Singapore. Of these, three are work pass holders who came from the United Arab Emirates, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom, and two are work permit holders who came from Indonesia and Myanmar.
Three other cases are dependent pass holders who arrived from Russia, France and the United Arab Emirates. The remaining case is a holder of a long-term visit pass that arrived from the Netherlands.
Overall, the number of new cases in the community has remained low, with a total of one case in the last week, which is currently not linked.
99% of all cases have recovered.
With six more patients discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities on Friday, 58,008 cases, or 99.8 percent of the total, have fully recovered from the infection.
Most of the 50 hospitalized cases are stable or improving, while none are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
A total of 28 patients with mild symptoms or who are clinically well but still test positive are isolated and cared for in community facilities.
In addition to 28 patients who died from complications of COVID-19, another 15 who tested positive for the virus were determined to have died from unrelated causes, including three whose deaths were attributed to a heart attack and another four whose deaths were attributed to disease. coronary. heart disease.
