SINGAPORE: Parliament will meet for its first session in 2021 on Monday (January 4) and, for the first time, the full minutes will be displayed in real time on the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Communications.

On the agenda are ministerial statements by the co-chairs of the multi-ministerial working group to deal with COVID-19, Health Minister Gan Kim Yong and Education Minister Lawrence Wong. They are due to give an update on the whole government response to COVID-19. This comes a week after Singapore moved into Phase 3 of its reopening of the economy.
