SINGAPORE – Another Raffles Girls’ School (RGS) student was among the three community cases announced on Friday (January 1).
The 14-year-old Singaporean is a friend of case 58,843, who is a family member of a permanent resident, a marine surveyor from Lloyd’s Register Singapore who was also a confirmed case.

On Thursday, she was quarantined after being identified as a close contact from previous community cases and reported that she was unwell when contacted by the Health Ministry.
Her test result came back positive for Covid-19 after she was taken to the National Center for Infectious Diseases in an ambulance.
