A video posted on the YouTube channel Everything Apple Pro claims to show off the design of Apple’s rumored iPhone 12 Pro Max. The video provides a tutorial of a 3D printed doll of the upcoming iPhone case that is based on a representation obtained by Max Weinbach, a video presenter and tech forms writer and XDA Developers blog.
Weinbach has a remarkable track record when it comes to reporting on unreleased smartphones; in recent months he has released accurate leaks detailing Samsung’s Galaxy S20 Plus and folding Galaxy Z Flip before they launched.
The alleged iPhone 12 Pro Max schematics that Weinbach has obtained align directly with what rumors and reports have suggested so far. They show off an iPhone design with flat, metallic edges reminiscent of the iPad Pro and earlier iPhone models like the iPhone 5. The video also claims that the alleged iPhone 12 Pro Max will have a 6.7-inch screen.

The model looks almost exactly like it was described by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in a report last week, which said that the successors to the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max would have stainless steel edges that lack the curved look of today’s smartphones.
