SINGAPORE – Results of the Primary School Completion Exam (PSLE) will be released on November 25.
Secondary 1 (S1) option forms for selecting secondary schools must be collected in person and will not be available online, the Ministry of Education (MOE) said on Wednesday (Nov 18).
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, school candidates will collect their results from their classrooms instead of a school hall starting at 11 a.m. M. Hereinafter.
This decision was made to give students “the opportunity to be with their classmates and consult their teachers face to face about their next steps” when collecting their results, the Ministry of Education said.
Due to the younger age of PSLE students, a parent or guardian may accompany their child or ward to school to collect the results.
However, they must wait in designated areas in the schools and observe safe driving measures while students receive the results in the classrooms.
Those who are unwell or under a quarantine order, stay-at-home notice, or leave of absence on the day the results are published should not return to school to collect their results.
Instead, they can view their results online on the Test and Examination Board (SEAB) results posting system starting at 11.30am. M. From November 25, with a password they have received from their schools.
The system can be accessed from November 25 to December 8.
School candidates may also designate a proxy to collect a physical copy of their results on their behalf by November 27.
Those who have not received their passwords for the SEAB results posting system or who are unable to designate a proxy to collect their results may contact their school for assistance.
Presentation of secondary options
S1 option forms will be given to eligible students when they collect their score sheets in person, the Ministry of Education said.
Candidate attorneys can pick up their Option S1 forms before November 27th.
Those who cannot receive their forms can contact their school for assistance.
On each S1 option form, there will be a unique S1 Personal Identification Number, which can be used to submit high school options online and view the posting result on the Secondary 1 Internet System (S1-IS).
This portal will be available from 11 a.m. M. From November 25 until 3 p.m. M. On December 1 for students to submit their school options via the S1 Posting website.
Post Secondary Results Publishing
The results of the S1 publication will be published on December 22 by SMS to a local number provided by the applicant, on the S1-IS portal or at the student’s elementary school.
Students do not need to report to their published high schools this year after receiving their S1 publication results.
Instead, they should check their schools’ websites published as of December 22 for more information, such as instructions on buying books and uniforms online, book lists, and report details.
More details can be found on the MOE website.
