SINGAPORE – Students will get national exam results online and in smaller venues in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The new arrangements were announced by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) on Tuesday (October 27).
Tentative dates for the publication of exam results, including the Primary School Completion Exam (PSLE) and A-levels, are available on the website of the Ministry of Education.
The exact date will be confirmed approximately one week before the actual day.
All candidates can view their results online on the SEAB website on the respective dates with a system-generated password or with their SingPass.
The MOE said students can also go back to their respective schools to collect their results, as it recognizes that doing so marks an important milestone.
Those who wish to collect their results in person can do so in individual classrooms rather than large, cluttered venues such as the school hall. They will have to adhere to safe driving practices.
PSLE candidates may be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
However, parents and guardians should wait in designated common areas in the schools and observe the safe driving measures in place.
Students who are unwell or who receive notices related to Covid on the day the results are released should not return to school.
A physical copy of your results can be obtained from your school at a later date.
Those who are unable to collect their results at school can designate a proxy to collect a physical copy of their results, as well as other forms established on the MOE website.
