At long last, Sony has come clean with possibly the most controversial questions in 2020: when will the Playstation 5 launch and how much will it cost?
PlayStation Asia just confirmed that its latest console will hit the shores of Singapore on November 19, 2020. The standard PS5 will be sold for $ 729, while the Digital Edition will be offered $ 599.
Online pre-orders for any edition of the console will begin on September 18, 2020 from 11am (SGT).
SIE also announced the pricing for the following accessories to be released alongside the PS5 console:
- DualSense Wireless Controller (S $ 99.90)
- PULSE 3D Wireless Headphones – with 3D audio support and dual noise-canceling microphones (S $ 149)
- HD camera – with dual 1080p lenses for gamers to stream themselves along with their epic gaming moments (S $ 89.90)
- Media Remote – to browse movies and streaming services with ease (S $ 44.90)
- DualSense charging station – for conveniently charging two DualSense wireless controllers (S $ 44.90)

Since its official introduction in June, expectations for the PS5 have never been higher. This is especially so with the sheer volume of AAA titles of its own that will come with it at various points after the console’s launch, including West horizon forbidden, Gran Turismo 7, Demon souls, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Moralesand God of War: Ragnarokand third party titles like Final Fantasy XVI, Resident Evil Villageand Hogwarts legacy. Now the question is when exactly these titles will be released so that we can savor every pixel of them on the PS5.

The PlayStation 5 release date comes just over a week after the November 10 launch of Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
