Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s agent appears to blame Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s attacking tactics for the forward’s lack of goals this season.

Kwaku Mensah used Instagram to display Arsenal’s attacking stats this season, which show that Arsenal have created the fewest opportunities, while the only teams to have scored less than the Gunners are in the relegation zone.

The Gabonese international scored 22 league goals last season, a record second only to Jamie Vardy. But in his 11 appearances so far, the 31-year-old has only scored two, while his attacking partner Alexandre Lacazette has only scored three.

But instead of questioning Aubameyag’s scoring form, Mensah appears to have an attack on Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta by displaying the stats with the caption “if you create chances …”.

Arsenal suffered their sixth defeat of the season with a 2-0 loss to north London rivals Tottenham, and the Gunners only managed two shots on goal. They have only managed 32 all season, the third worst in the league.

It was also another frustrating outing for Aubameyang, as his 21 touches were the fewest of the 22 players to start the game. On top of that, he didn’t produce a shot on goal, create an opportunity, or complete an attack.
