Netizens baffled by fitness group hoarding Fort Canning parking lots, Singapore News

From Zoom exercises to downsized fitness class sizes, many of our workouts have looked a little different.

But outside left field, even for Covid-19 occasions, there was a group of fitness enthusiasts heading to an unusual location for their sweat session: the parking lot at Fort Canning Park.

The unconventional training session was captured on the dash cam of an unsuspecting driver who posted the video on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page today (September 9).

The images showed about nine people scattered around the parking lot, participating in various exercises, including sit-ups on bikes and mountain climbers.

Each person occupying a single parking lot, the group also had equipment like water bottles and towels scattered around. A woman was also seen walking through the group and appeared to be supervising them.

This was despite the open meadows and walking trails available at Fort Canning Park a stone’s throw away.
