The Fab Four division dates back to an incident between Meghan Markle and a Kate Middleton staff member at Kensington Palace, according to a new book.
-
The book, Kensington Palace: An intimate memory of Queen Mary to Meghan Markle by Tom Quinn, he relies on anonymous interviews with palace employees over the years to paint a picture of the royal family’s private life.
The royal family drama is probably the most intriguing of all celebrity dramas. Even when royalty fans know that something is happening behind the scenes, royalty hardly ever addresses the drama directly, leaving the details a mystery.
“Kate is actually one of the prettiest royalty, and she hasn’t let life in her extremely grand apartment in Kensington go to her head, or at least not too much,” said a palace source. “She is kind to her staff, overall, and was very warm to Meghan when she arrived.”
According to the source, Meghan jealously fought for her and Harry’s position relative to that of Kate and her husband, Prince William, who is directly online to inherit the throne.
“I think it has been difficult for him to deal with that,” the source continued. “And although Harry loved his cabin on the grounds, Meghan was aware that it was small compared to the vast apartment complex where Kate and William live.”
A second source, described as a former palace servant, agreed with that assessment and went a step further, detailing the incident that led Harry and Meghan to separate their home from Will and Kate and leave Kensington Palace.
“Kate was horrified when Meghan yelled at a Kate staff member; that was definitely the beginning of the discussions about leaving Kensington Palace,” said the former servant. “Like many people who are not used to dealing with servants, Meghan exaggerates imperiosity; on the one hand, she wants to be like Diana, the princess of a town, and on the other, she wants people to attract attention when she does click your fingers. “
Another source from Kensington Palace believes that Meghan’s behavior was the result of the treatment she received when joining the British royal family as a divorced mixed-race American.
“There are more reactionary elements in the Royal Family who belittle her and she knows it,” the source said. “This makes her overreact sometimes, she doesn’t have Kate’s sure way of dealing with people.”
There is so much tea here and we can’t wait to read the entire book when it comes out on May 14.
