SINGAPORE: The Marina Bay Sands and Mustafa Center stores were added to the list of public places visited by community cases of COVID-19 during their infectious period, the Ministry of Health (MINSA) said on Saturday (September 26).

The Rasapura Masters food court at Marina Bay Sands was included twice on different days.

A COVID-19 case also visited an STA vehicle inspection center in Boon Lay on September 24.

Those who have been identified as close contacts of confirmed cases have already been notified by the Ministry of Health.

As a precautionary measure, people who were in those places during the specified hours should monitor their health closely for 14 days from the date of their visit, the Health Ministry said.

They should see a doctor immediately if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection, as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their history of exposure.

The health ministry said that people can access the SafeEntry Location Matching Self-Check service through the TraceTogether app, SingPass Mobile or on the SafeEntry website to check if they were at these locations during specified times, based on their own records. by SafeEntry.

“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been registered. The National Environment Agency will contract with the management of the affected facilities to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection,” added the Ministry of Health.

Singapore reported 20 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, including one in the community and five imported cases.
