SINGAPORE: The Marina Bay Sands casino and several restaurants in Singapore, including The Central and The Centrepoint, have been added to a list of places visited by COVID-19 cases during their infectious period.
Sixteen entries were added to the list on Monday, according to an update provided by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Monday (November 30).
The Marina Bay Sands Casino was visited twice and the SQUE Rotisserie & Alehouse at The Central @ Clarke Quay was frequented four times.
Ion Orchard Mall and Geylang Bahru Market and Food Center were also added to the list.
Several food establishments in Singapore were also added to the list, including doc in Tanjong Pagar, 28Wilkie on Wilkie Road, and Makansutra Gluttons Bay on Raffles Avenue.

Singapore confirmed on Monday a new community case, a 35-year-old man from Nepal.
Known as Case 58425, the man is a holder of a short-term visitation pass who was allowed entry to Singapore to visit his family members who are Singaporean.
He arrived in Singapore from Nepal on November 1 and was placed on a 14-day stay-at-home notice in a dedicated facility upon arrival.
He had tested negative for COVID-19 infection on November 11 while serving his stay-at-home notice. He then stayed at a friend’s apartment at 22 Bishan Street and visited his family at 6 Yishun Avenue.
The Health Ministry said the man was detected as a confirmed case when he underwent a COVID-19 test prior to departure on Nov. 28 ahead of a scheduled trip to the United States.
He was rushed to the hospital when his test came back positive for COVID-19 on November 29. Your serological test result is also positive, indicating a probable past infection.

All of your identified close contacts have been isolated and quarantined, and will be tested at the beginning and end of your quarantine period. The Health Ministry said serological tests will also be conducted for close contacts.
Those who have been identified as close contacts of confirmed cases have already been notified by the Ministry of Health.
As a precaution, anyone who was in the places listed during the specified times should monitor their health closely for 14 days from the date of the visit, the Health Ministry said.
They should see a doctor immediately if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection, such as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.

The health ministry said people can access the SafeEntry Location Matching Self-Check service through the TraceTogether app, SingPass Mobile, or the SafeEntry website to check if they were at these locations during specified hours, based on their own SafeEntry records. .
“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded. The National Environment Agency will contract the management of the affected facilities to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection,” the Health Ministry said.
As of noon on Monday, a total of five new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, bringing Singapore’s total number of infections to 58,218, with 29 deaths.
