Man taken to hospital after being found injured at Whampoa Drive Food Center

SINGAPORE: A 29-year-old man who was found injured at Whampoa Drive Food Center was taken to the hospital early Tuesday (December 1), police said Wednesday.

Police said they were alerted to “a case of willful harm” at 90 Whampoa Drive Tuesday at 1.13am.

“A 29-year-old man was conscious when he was transferred to Tan Tock Seng Hospital,” they added.

The man was taken to hospital by the Singapore Civil Defense Force.

In photos circulating on social media, a man lay on the floor with blood around him, and on the table and chairs.

One photo showed another man wiping blood from the ground.

Police investigations are ongoing.
