Rodrigo spent six seasons with Valencia and made 220 appearances in all competitions, scoring 59 goals.

The Spanish international spent his youth career at Celta de Vigo and Real Madrid before moving to Benfica in 2010.
He made 120 appearances for the Portuguese team in all competitions and scored 45 goals during his three seasons there.
Rodrigo won the European Under-21 Championship with Spain in 2013 and has 22 international appearances, scoring eight goals.
