Le Meridien Sentosa will stop operating

SINGAPORE – Le Meridien Singapore, Sentosa announced today (October 31) that it will cease operations at 11:59 pm

The five-star hotel is located across from Imbiah Station on the Sentosa Express Monorail and features 191 rooms, including suites with a private Japanese Onsen pool. Its 243 square meters of functional space with a 198 square meter ballroom was frequently used for wedding ceremonies.

In a Facebook post shared today, the hotel thanked all of its past and present guests, business partners and associates for all the support over the past several years. “It has been a real pleasure to welcome you all to the attractive destination of Sentosa Island,” the publication added.

Additionally, the hotel would no longer be affiliated with Marriott International.

Currently, Marriott International operates six hotels in Singapore: The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore, W Singapore Sentosa Cove, Sheraton Towers Singapore, Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, The St. Regis Singapore, and The Vagabond Club.
