Chelsea manager Frank Lampard reportedly attacked defender Marcos Alonso in front of his teammates after his team’s 3-3 draw at West Brom.
Alonso it is said that he has tried to watch the second half of the game on the team coach instead of with him Chelsea substitutes within The Hawthorns, enraging Lampard after he attempted to leave the stadium without permission.
The Spanish left-back was directly to blame for two of the hosts’ goals in a defensive disaster for the Blues in the opening 45 minutes that left them 3-0 down at half-time.

Lampard highlights Alonso and Thiago Silva
Lampard singled out Alonso and new guy Thiago Silva, whose slip-up led to the Baggies’ second goal, in his post-game interview with Sky sports.
He said: “They were clear mistakes. The first, Marcos directs him to the middle of the field to make a transition.
“Thiago’s is a mistake. It’s been around long enough to know that and we’ll certainly give it to you in your first game.
“And then Marcos loses his man for the third goal from the corner, a clear mistake.”
Alonso has started Chelsea’s first three Premier League games in the absence of new signing Ben Chilwell through injury.
His replacement by César Azpilicueta and subsequent error in judgment could cause him to leave Stamford Bridge two years before his contract expires.
Chelsea has until the end of the transfer window on October 5 to move the player, if they wish.
