Liverpool are set to sell the fan favorite with three emerging clubs as suitors, while Manchester City could ditch Nicolas Otamendi in exchange for a quality star from Sevilla, according to transfer rumors on Saturday.

DIVOCK ORIGI FOR SALE AT LIVERPOOL

Liverpool have alerted potential suitors that Divock Origi may leave the club before the transfer window closes.

Reds have sealed an initial £ 20 million deal to sign Thiago Alcantara and they are also about to get Wolves forward Diogo Jota.

Now details have emerged of the incredible deal transfer guru Michael Edwards has managed for the Portuguese forward..

Liverpool will now focus on recovering some of its transfer costs. As such, The times states that Origi has been told that she can leave.

The Reds paid Lille £ 10 million for the Belgian road in 2014.

During his time at Anfield, he has been loaned out to his former employers, as well as Wolfsburg.

However, the chances of the first team have been slim. Nonetheless, Origi has been a useful backup to his famous three forwards over the past two seasons.

In fact, his goal in 2019 Champions League success means that he has enjoyed cult status at Anfield. Origi scored the crucial fourth goal in the 4-0 game against Barcelona. He was also on the scoreboard in the final 2-0 win over Tottenham.

For those two goals alone, he will always have a special place in the hearts of the fans.

But Jota’s arrival means his chances with the first team have been further reduced. And with no room for sentimentality, Liverpool is reported to have paid him a £ 20 million fee.

Brighton, Newcastle and Fenerbahce have linked up with Origi, with the window closing on October 5.

His sale, however, may end Sheffield United’s chances of signing Rhian Brewster. The Blades have been in talks with Liverpool about a loan deal, but that can now be shelved if Origi goes ahead.

Origi will leave Liverpool with 34 goals in 140 appearances for the Reds.
