Stomper Jack He was shocked when he saw a girl posted a video of her friend speeding at 184 km / h down a highway.
The video, which was posted on Instagram Stories, caught Jack’s attention on Friday (October 30) at 4.50am and he shared it with Stomp.
In the video, the young man inserted a caption that read: “Speeding is not okay.”
Her friend can be seen driving at speeds of up to 184 km / h, according to the speedometer.
“I can’t believe she posted a video of her friend speeding even though she knows that, well, speeding is not right,” said Jack.
“I feel sorry for the people who were driving near them. It must have been very unsafe.
“It is also very disrespectful to other road users, as serious accidents could have occurred.”
Under the Road Traffic Act, a person who drives a motor vehicle on a highway recklessly, or at a speed or in a manner dangerous to the public, is guilty of a crime.
This is not the first time that young people have posted videos of their friends speeding on the highway.
On October 14, a Secondary 4 girl posted a video of her friend speeding at 177 km / h along the highway.
