A Secondary 4 girl posted videos on Instagram of her friends running down a highway during the early hours of Wednesday (October 14).
A Stomper was scrolling through Instagram at 2.49am when he watched the videos and shared screen recordings with Stomp.
One of the videos, titled “Another Day, Another Death,” shows someone running down the highway at 177 km / h.
Another video shows another young man driving, accompanied by the caption: ‘help sia’.
According to Stomper, the Instagram user is a Secondary 4 student.
“I know they are high school students because I have seen their posts with their friends at school,” Stomper said.
The Instagram user had also posted a ‘wefie’ in April 2018 about being in High School 2, which would make her a High School 4 student now.
Stomper mentioned that he was browsing Instagram when he came across these videos.
“One of the videos shows the girl’s friend running down the highway at about 170 km / h,” Stomper said.
“I was surprised that someone could drive so fast in Singapore!
“And how can you be allowed to drive at this age when the minimum age for obtaining a driver’s license is 18?”
Under the Highway Traffic Act, those who drive without a qualified driver’s license will be guilty of a crime and, upon conviction, will be imposed a fine not to exceed $ 10,000 or a prison sentence for a period not to exceed $ 10,000. three years or both.

This isn’t the first time Instagram users have posted videos of their friends speeding on the road.
In May this year, a young man posted a video of his friend driving at speeds of up to 180 km / h on a highway.
