Stomper Joy She is asking for help finding a wallet her father lost, as it contains a driver’s license that has special sentimental value to the family.
The black wallet was lost en route from Block 87 Circuit Road to Block 54 Pipit Road on Saturday (October 10), sometime between 2.20 pm and 3.30 pm
It contains cash, check, bank cards, Stomper’s father’s driver’s license, his Merdeka card, medical card, and Kopitiam card, among other cards.
However, the most valuable item in the wallet is a driver’s license that belongs to Joy’s grandfather, Leong Mun Teck, who has now passed away.
Joy said: “My dad lost his wallet, which carries a very precious and memorable item: my late grandfather’s driver’s license.
“My dad had accompanied my grandfather to where he wanted to go when he was alive. Now that he passed away, my dad has always kept my grandfather’s driver’s license in his wallet and has carried it with him wherever he goes, be it downstairs. the market or on vacation trips abroad.
“My father has kept his promise for the past 17 years, but is devastated that he can’t keep doing it after losing his wallet.
“He was terribly upset and has been berating himself for not taking good care of my grandfather and now grandfather has decided to leave him.
“When he told me, I couldn’t control my tears and I burst into tears along with him.
“The driver’s license represents the strong bond between my father and my deceased grandfather, his love, a lifelong promise to my grandfather and the only memory left to my father.
“I really hope that some kind souls will pick up my dad’s wallet and can return it. The most important thing he misses is my grandfather’s driver’s license. We will be grateful to get it back.”
