HARRY KANE feels that he is performing at his best at Tottenham thanks to the influence of coach José Mourinho.

The 27-year-old has already been directly involved in 23 impressive goals in all competitions for Spurs this season.

‘It was great to have [Mourinho] right on the training ground, on the training ground, ” Kane said (pictured with coach Mourinho above).

“ I think he saw in my game that I like to fall deep, so he made it clear to others that if I do, they should be the ones to run behind.

I think that has been the real difference. It has allowed me to create space and get the ball, but I also have a choice in the future.

“It’s been great and obviously I’m looking forward to the months to come and doing very well.

When asked if the move to No. 10 could help extend his career, Kane said: ‘Yeah, but I think obviously I’ve still been playing like a nine too and I think that’s the beauty of what has worked well this season. ‘
