SINGAPORE: Eight men were arrested on Thursday (September 17) in a multi-location operation that saw more than S $ 120,000 worth of drugs seized.
A total of approximately 375 g of ice, 37 g of heroin, approximately 135 g of ketamine and one Erimin-5 tablet were seized, the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) said in a press release.
The seized drugs are estimated to be worth around S $ 124,000.

On September 17, CNB agents intercepted a vehicle on River Valley Road and arrested two Singaporeans.
After searching his vehicle, officers found a papaya that contained three 333g packets of ice and two approximately 121g packets of ketamine.
Another 42 g of ice, approximately 37 g of heroin, approximately 14 g of ketamine, and an Emirin-5 tablet were also seized from the vehicle.

Following the earlier arrest, officers also arrested three Malaysians near the Pasir Panjang Wholesale Center.
The fruit basket containing the papaya is believed to have been loaded at the wholesale center, CNB said.
Later that night, two more suspects were arrested near Clementi Avenue 4, while another man was arrested near Bukit Purmei Avenue.
These three Singaporeans were believed to be related to drugs seized from the two suspects previously arrested on River Valley Road.
All of the suspects are between the ages of 18 and 50.
“Investigations into the drug-related activities of all those arrested are ongoing,” CNB said.
The total amount of ice seized in the operation is enough to fuel the addiction of about 215 abusers for a week, the agency added.
