SINGAPORE (THE BUSINESS TIMES) – Deliveroo passengers in Singapore could receive payments ranging from $ 370 to $ 18,500 if the London food delivery company’s planned list is approved.

This is part of a Thank You Fund to reward riders who have delivered the most orders, Deliveroo announced on Sunday (March 7). The fund, which would launch on the day of an initial public offering (IPO), will be available to active users in the 12 markets in which Deliveroo operates.

Payments will be calculated based on the number of orders completed by each eligible passenger, with the largest payments going to those who have completed the highest number of orders in each market.

Payments start at $ 370, for passengers who have worked with Deliveroo for at least a year and completed 2,000 orders, increasing to $ 925, $ 1,850 and $ 18,500.

Deliveroo said the percentage of riders eligible for each of the different awards will be consistent across markets. It is estimated that more than 36,000 passengers worldwide will receive cash payments, each receiving an average of $ 815.

Will Shu, Deliveroo Founder and CEO, said: “Passengers are at the heart of our business and we want to reward their efforts that have helped Deliveroo become what it is today. Their commitment to great service has allowed us to grow .and offer the best food delivery experience in the world. “

According to media reports this week, Deliveroo is looking to list in London, with a potential valuation of up to $ 10 billion (S $ 13.4 billion), the Financial Times reported.

In January, Deliveroo was valued at about $ 7 billion, following a recent funding round in which it raised more than $ 180 million.
