Since last year, a family in Yishun has been littered with garbage dumped by their upstairs neighbor.

“My neighbor has been throwing all kinds of garbage out the window,” a father of three told Shin Min Daily News.

The discarded items include used bread, tissue paper and sanitary napkins, the 53-year-old private rental driver said.

The situation worsened about a month ago when a stone smashed into one of its windows, smashing the glass and sending splinters to the floor.

Despite the shock, the man’s eldest son, who had been using the computer by the window, was unhurt.

“Several glass fragments fell to the ground, my son called the police who came to our apartment to investigate and take photos.”

“I can forgive my neighbor if they only littered once or twice, but this time they went overboard by breaking my window pane with a stone,” he told the Chinese newspaper.
