On Saturday (December 26), Facebook user Bu Hui Yan posted images of what appears to be a Christmas party on a yacht on Lazarus Island. A group of about 10 men and women in bathing suits, some in Santa hats, could be seen dancing on the stern. Nobody wore a mask.
The images also showed people on the coast exhibiting contrasting behavior as they wore face masks.

The post led members of the online community to question the lack of social distancing and adherence to Covid-19 security measures.

A reader informed The New Paper of the alleged violations and reported the incident to the STB. The latter’s cruise director, Annie Chang, confirmed that she was investigating the meeting.
