The children had not started their enrollment during the months for which the grants were applied for or did not attend the Faith Educare centers.

If convicted, the three women face up to 10 years in jail, a fine, or both.

Police have warned that they have a serious opinion against anyone engaged in dishonest or fraudulent conduct related to applications for government grants, adding that violators will be treated harshly in accordance with the law.
