Chelsea are serious about a move for Erling Haaland and plan to sell multiple players to fund the summer deal, while Arsenal can sign Dani Ceballos for just £ 22 million, all in the papers.

CHELSEA WILL FINANCE HAALAND SWOOP

Chelsea will have to sell out some of its fringe players if it wants to land Erling Haaland this summer, a report claims.

It is understood that the Blues, along with Manchester City and Manchester United, are after the Borussia Dortmund hit man.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer even admitted that he is “following” the 20-year-old. whom United attempted to land on January 20.

Football.london acknowledges that Chelsea is one of the clubs chasing the Norwegian superstar and claims that the players will have to be sold to finance a move in the summer.

The Norwegian international’s € 75 million buyout clause is only valid in 2022, so Dortmund can request any fees before then.

It appears Spaniard Kepa Arrizabalaga as well as defenders Andreas Christensen and Fikayo Tomori are the three most likely to be sold to fund a Haaland play.

Kepa was a £ 72 million signing but is behind Edoard Mendy, while Tomori is currently on loan at AC Milan with a £ 27 million option to buy.

Meanwhile, Christensen will only have one year left on his contract in the summer and could be fired and Thomas Tuchel is believed to be eager to land another center-back.
