SINGAPORE – The Orchis food court at Changi Airport Terminal 1, Ngee Ann City and the Alexandra Village Food Center are among the new places visited by Covid-19 patients when they were still infectious, said the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Tuesday (September 29).

Between September 15 and 25, the Orchis food court was visited at six different times, while the Alexandra Village food center was visited at four separate times.

Popular places IMM, Bugis Junction, and Bugis + were also listed as new places visited by patients.

The Ministry of Health provides the complete list of places that infectious Covid-19 patients visited for at least 30 minutes and the times they visited so that people who were in those places at the same time closely monitor their health for two weeks from the date of your visit. to visit. The Health Ministry has said that close contacts have already been notified and that it is not necessary to avoid these places, as they would have been cleaned if necessary.

There were a total of 27 new confirmed coronavirus cases on Tuesday, bringing Singapore’s total to 57,742.

Migrant workers living in dormitories made up the remaining 17 of the 27 new coronavirus patients announced Tuesday. Eight had previously been identified as contacts from previous cases and had already been quarantined to prevent further transmission.

The remaining nine cases were detected by surveillance tests.

The number of new daily cases in the community has remained stable at an average of less than one case per day in the last two weeks.

With 73 cases discharged on Tuesday, 57,451 patients have made a full recovery from the disease.

A total of 32 patients remain hospitalized, none in intensive care, while 217 recover in community facilities.

Singapore has had 27 deaths from Covid-19 complications, while 15 who tested positive have died from other causes.
