Apple may be about to reveal the new 13-inch MacBook Pro

Apple’s new 13-inch MacBook Pro, which has been the subject of many conversations over the laptop vine lately, will launch in a matter of hours, according to rumors.

This comes from Jon Prosser, a technology analyst with an impressive track record when it comes to Apple leaks (often iPhone-related), who relayed the rumor with a very short and sweet tweet.

When pressed by Twitter residents to know exactly when we could expect to launch a new updated 13-inch MacBook Pro today, Prosser simply observed that we should “keep an eye on the website for the next two hours.”

So we are talking about a very imminent launch, if this turns out to be in the money.

Screen size?

Prosser has previously indicated that there is a good chance that Apple will follow the same route as with the 16-inch MacBook Pro, in other words, tweaks a 14-inch screen on the new model while maintaining the 13-inch chassis (despite an earlier rumor that the screen size cannot be changed with the MacBook Pro smaller).

Another recent leak has claimed that we could see impressive updates in terms of memory and storage, with up to 32GB of RAM and a 4TB SSD. That would double the maximum capacities currently available on both fronts, and create a much more powerful 13-inch MacBook Pro, particularly when paired with that larger screen.

Apple is also expected to use the best scissor switch keyboard on this updated model.

At least we don’t have to wait long for the truth of Prosser’s claims to be confirmed, as we should know in just a couple of hours.
