SINGAPORE: Starting September 21, all Singapore residents will be able to collect a free pair of reusable masks under another initiative organized by the Temasek Foundation.
Domestic helpers and workers with work passes will also be able to collect their masks using their FIN card.
Temasek Holdings CEO Ho Ching announced the latest mask distribution initiative in a Facebook post on Wednesday (September 9).

“The people at the Temasek Foundation have been planning this for some time and were working to make a formal announcement before this weekend,” Mdm Ho wrote.
The mask collection begins on September 21 at 10 am and ends on October 4, while pre-orders, for those who want additional masks or masks in colors other than white, will be available from September 13 until on October 2.
Residents will need to scan the barcodes on their NRIC, FIN, driver’s license, or any government-issued identification (with barcode) to pick up their masks. Each card can be used to collect a free kit containing two white cloth masks.
During the last Temasek Foundation distribution campaign in June and July, the masks were available at vending machines located throughout the island.

Mdm Ho said there were “abundant supplies” of white masks for both adults and children.
“Feel free to go after the first three days to avoid the crowds,” he added.

Residents who want to buy more masks can reserve them online.
White and navy blue masks are available at S $ 8 per kit and each person can pre-order up to 10 kits in these colors. Each kit contains two masks.
Other limited edition colors are also available: black, peach and denim. These colors cost S $ 10 per kit and each person can only pre-order up to five kits.
