Despite the pouring rain and cold weather on Tuesday morning (November 10), a parent felt warm and confused thanks to a heartwarming sight he witnessed.

Stomper Ireneo Nathar She was dropping off her children at St. Gabriel Primary School in Lorong Chuan around 7:20 am when the incident occurred.

Ireneo Nathar related: “It was raining a lot and the school principal took the initiative to leave the school to protect his students with an umbrella.

“He brought them to school from the area not protected by the covered walkway.

“Another staff member had also been stationed at the entrance of the Lorong Chuan MRT station to help the students reach the covered walkway.

The photos taken by Irenaeus Nathar show the principal of St. Gabriel Elementary School, Mr. Martin Tan, sharing an umbrella with the students and leading them down the walkway.

The Stomper added: “I am very inspired and grateful that my children have a director like him.”
