Cha Tae Hyun will be joining a new variety show!
On May 6, an entertainment industry source reported, “Producing director (PD) Yoo Ho Jin is preparing for a new tvN variety program titled‘ Seoul Bumpkin ’(working title). Cha Tae Hyun will be the MC. ”
In response to the report, a representative from tvN confirmed, “The new tvN variety program‘ Seoul Bumpkin ’directed by PD Yoo Ho Jin will feature guests going back to their hometown to have the members experience life in that town. Cha Tae Hyun will be starring in the program, and the show will greet viewers with its premiere this summer. ”
Previously, PD Yoo Ho Jin directed the third season of KBS’s “2 Days & 1 Night.” Last year, I planned and directed tvN’s “Wednesday Music Playlist.” Furthermore, in addition to working with Cha Tae Hyun on “2 Days & 1 Night,” he also co-directed “The Best Hit” with the actor, making viewers highly anticipate their upcoming collaboration.
