A GrabFood delivery driver and a customer exchanged words after the driver requested that he “recharge” his parking fee while placing his order.

Stomp’s contributor Baobao told Stomp that he was disappointed in the experience.

“The driver picked up my order at Collin’s in Funan Mall,” said the Stomp contributor.

“He then went ahead to text me and asked me to pay his parking fee, if I didn’t mind.

“This is the first time that I have come across a delivery man asking me this question and of course I declined.

“Then he got sarcastic when I scolded him and made a demeaning statement that I didn’t have a pleasant day yesterday or last night.

At the end of the exchange, the delivery driver said that Stomp’s collaborator had misunderstood him and ended up ‘hurting’ him instead.

“Really unlucky to meet such a rude jerk,” said Stomp’s contributor.

He added that he has complained about the driver to GrabFood after the exchange.

“It was disappointing, to say the least.”
