A 39-year-old bicyclist was taken to hospital after he was struck by a car at the intersection of Orchard Road and Scotts Road on March 6.

Stomper Kirby alerted Stomp to the incident and shared that his father was the driver of the car involved.

“This incident was found by my father, who is a driver for Grab,” he said.

“I was driving down Orchard Road on March 6, 2021 around 7:43 am.

“Since it was a green light in favor of the driver, it would have been almost impossible for the rider’s claim to ‘have the right of way as their direction is on the green light’ to be true.
